This week Mrs Storey accompanied a Year 5 and 6 Boccia team to participate in a competition at Gateshead Stadium. The aim of this game is to roll a ball as close as possible to the white ball. The children need to work together to ensure their opponents don’t get close by knocking them out of the way. This is a game that requires tactics, teamwork and good hand to eye coordination. Our Fellside team demonstrated all three and thoroughly enjoyed participating in the competition. Our aim is to share this experience with other children in school and introduce a Boccia club.
